The Gold 5420+ carries 28 cores on the 4th Gen Sapphire Rapids platform and is a cost-controlled option for dual-socket enterprise, storage and backup servers. It shares socket LGA4677 with the rest of the 4th and 5th Gen Xeon Scalable range, so it can be specified into new builds or used to expand two socket systems already running 4th Gen silicon.

This part is usually ordered in volume, so our quotations start at ten pieces, with single units possible for spares and warranty cover. Units are tested and packed in anti-static trays, then shipped from Hong Kong with the invoice, packing list and certificate of origin required for import.
