Overview
The R740xd was the storage-dense version of Dell 2U server for the 1st and 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable era, and it is one of the most widely deployed rack servers ever sold. Buyers still choose it second hand for backup targets, archive tiers, media storage, software-defined storage nodes and lab environments, where capacity per dollar matters more than the newest instruction set.
We hold and source R740xd units in quantity, so orders can be matched to a consistent specification rather than assembled from whatever is available. AXISLINK reconfigures each unit to the ordered processor, memory and drive layout, updates firmware, runs a load test, and wipes or replaces drives as instructed. The condition grade appears on the quotation, and export documentation and freight from Hong Kong are arranged by our team.
