The Xeon Silver 4514Y is the 16 core entry point of the 5th Gen Xeon Scalable range, suited to file and storage nodes, edge deployments and dual-socket servers where memory capacity and connectivity matter more than core count. It runs on LGA4677 boards with eight DDR5 channels per socket and PCIe 5.0 expansion, the same platform footprint used by the higher Xeon tiers.
